Tiger Blossom PRACTICE SPACE

A Creative House for Presence, Expression & Connection

A home for ongoing, small-group experiences that blend Ikebana-inspired botanical arranging with other creative and sensory practices.

Each gathering begins with the Tiger Blossom practice of listening — to nature, to materials, and to yourself — and then gently expands into other art forms such as painting, writing, zine-making, drawing, tea, or gardening. This layered approach honors the many ways humans process, express, and heal.

These are not spaces for perfection or performance, these workshops emphasize process, play, and relationship: with the earth, with creativity, and with one another.

This multi-modal structure supports people with different learning and processing styles, making creativity more accessible, embodied, and personally meaningful. Respect for nature as both teacher and partner in the creative process.

This Costa Mesa studio serves as a recurring home for Tiger Blossom gatherings ~ a place where community can grow slowly and consistently through shared creative practice.

MORE ON TIGER BLOSSOM COLLABORATIONS

Botanical Arranging + Mixed-Media Exploration
for presence, courage, and creative confidence

LALA & Tiger is a collaborative workshop series with local artist Lynn of Xylem Florals, blending Tiger Blossom’s botanical practice with tactile, playful mixed-media art.

Each session begins with Ikebana-inspired arranging, then moves into creative responses such as watercolor, zine-making, sensory drawing with music, or shared landscape installations.

Participants explore how different materials, sounds, and creative tools shift their emotional and imaginative experience.

These workshops are designed to nurture courage, curiosity, and creative confidence ~ with no prior art experience required. The focus is on discovery and honoring each person’s unique way of seeing and responding to the world.

LALA & Tiger workshops are intimate, gentle, and deeply community-oriented, inviting participants to create both individually and together.

Accessible Botanic Based Art Experiences for Exploration and Expression

In collaboration with local artist and art educator Meg, these workshops focus on playful, social, and expressive art experiences such as sip-and-paint nights, seasonal art sessions, and accessible creative gatherings all exploring botanics.

Tiger Blossom x Meg workshops may also include family-friendly offerings and creative camps, supporting both community engagement and sustainable income pathways for local artists.

ABOUT MEG:
Meg is an artist and craft cocktail creator whose practice bridges botanical imagery, ceramics, and curated spirits. She has been teaching art for five years now, guiding her classes through many different mediums. Her inspiration comes from nature and passion to keep people connected through art. Rooted in bold color and expressive pattern, her work transforms everyday rituals into immersive, sensory experiences. She is intentional in helping people find the beauty in the process, in hopes the art teaches them something about themselves.
